This week I revisit some of my favourite stories of the year for a festive fancy of fun and flamboyance: the lavish Vintage Christmas show at Wilton’s Music Hall, complete with all your holiday favourites such as the likes of Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Champagne Charlie, Santa Claus and even John Wilton himself; also in Soho catching up with my friend Steve, a.k.a. “the pothole gardener” with his merry band of ‘cycling’ carol singers (with all proceeds of the Humtoo Bicycle Orchestra and Vocality Cycling Singers going to the Charity ‘Shelter’); whilst across town in Spitalfields I am overcome by the charm of the Christmas installation at the house of Dennis Severs which takes months of preparation, thought and love by the house’s guardians Mick Pedroli and David Milne.
For you amusement…….
