How fascinating. It would be interesting to see panoramic views from the 19th century too, but perhaps Victorian artists weren’t so keen on this aspect? Thanks for posting the series though, and your photos make a wonderful update.
It was difficult searching for any Victorian artwork, however I have just unearthed more which I will update shortly.
